Clifford Armstead

In 2016, what looked like a small stain on a dress shirt began a life-altering journey. With no pain, no symptoms, and no warning signs, he sought medical attention at his wife’s urging—only to learn he was among the 1 in 1,000 men diagnosed with male breast cancer.

After undergoing surgery and treatment at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, he quickly realized how limited awareness, resources, and support were for men facing this disease. That changed when he was connected with Men-4-Men, a male breast cancer support group founded by survivor Reverend Michael Enette. The brotherhood, guidance, and lived experience he found there became a lifeline during treatment and recovery.

Now a survivor and outspoken advocate, he shares his story through community outreach, speaking engagements, and grassroots education to ensure men understand that breast cancer is not just a women’s issue. His message is direct and urgent: “Go get seen and get screened—because without your health, there is no wealth.”

His fight didn’t end there. In 2018, he was also diagnosed with prostate cancer and given a limited prognosis. Yet today, he remains here—living proof that a diagnosis is not a death sentence, and that early detection saves lives.

In 2025, he became the CEO of Men-4-Men Support Group, where he continues to expand awareness, support, and education for men facing breast cancer and other health challenges. Under his leadership, the organization is strengthening its mission to empower men to take charge of their health, speak up, and get screened so they can live long enough to enjoy the wealth of life, family, and purpose.
