Physical Therapist
Indianapolis, IN
Sarah Blount, PT, DPT, CLT serves as Chief Clinical Officer at Cancer Rehab Group, an oncology-focused rehabilitation practice based in Indianapolis, Indiana. With nearly 16 years of experience as a physical therapist, she has dedicated her career to improving quality of life and restoring function for cancer patients and survivors.
Sarah Blount earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Hanover College before going on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Dayton. That foundation launched a career built entirely around one purpose: ensuring that people affected by cancer have access to the specialized rehabilitation care they deserve.
Her clinical expertise spans oncology rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and pelvic health — areas where skilled, compassionate care can make a profound difference in a patient’s recovery and long-term wellbeing. As Chief Clinical Officer, she leads a team committed to raising the standard of cancer rehabilitation and expanding access to these services for patients across the region and beyond.
Her connection to the Male Breast Cancer Alliance reflects that same mission. Sarah believes that no patient — regardless of diagnosis or gender — should face the physical challenges of cancer and its treatment without expert rehabilitative support. Improving function, reducing suffering, and empowering survivors is not just her profession. It is her life’s work.
