Dr. Bogler was diagnosed with Stage III cancer in 2012 while working as a cancer biologist at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He completed active treatment in 2013 and has participated in several clinical trials. Dr. Bogler is currently the Director of the Center for Cancer Training at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Cardoso is actively involved in many Stage I-IV breast cancer clinical trials and is deeply involved in the field of cancer policy, accessibility, and inequalities.
