MBCGA Director
Marc Futterweit has more than 30 years’ experience as an attorney and business owner, managing a successful law firm specializing in personal injury, workers compensation and criminal matters. In 2019, he launched a second career as a General Agent for American Income Life Insurance Company and has proven to be an outstanding player in the field. A two-time breast cancer survivor who was first diagnosed in 2007, Marc quickly became a committed and passionate crusader, actively advocating both male and female breast cancer awareness locally for the former Susan G. Komen North Jersey Affiliate (who launched the first of Komen National’s Male Breast Cancer Awareness initiatives in 2012), as well as on a national level. He has been interviewed extensively by the broadcast media, including NEWS12-NJ and CBS-NY, and represented numerous breast cancer organizations in the earliest days of working to get “the blue wave” going.
As a charter member of the founding of the former Male Breast Cancer Coalition in 2014 (now the MBCGA), Marc has been a strong and active participant in the quest to bring male breast cancer awareness and advocacy to the forefront.
