Treasurer
Joanne Lopez is Vice President, Market Manager/Women in Business Ambassador for Valley Bank. She is a distinguished banking professional with more than two decades in the banking arena. Her exceptional expertise and commitment to service have distinguished her as a leader in her field, and she has been the recipient of numerous awards for her outstanding performance and innovative contributions to the industry. In 2024, she was recognized by the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce for her impact in the community, and was honored as a community leader for her contributions to the communities that Valley Bank serves.
Beyond her remarkable achievements in banking, Joanne is also known for her deep-rooted passion for helping others in need. She strives to live her life with a purpose, “doing one small thing every day that impacts the life of another in a positive way.” Joanne volunteers her time and resources to support various charitable causes and community initiatives including TTA Empire Inc (assisting veterans who are in need of mental health support), Ruby’s Vision in Paterson (helping at-need families with food, security, and shelter), and La Magia de las Bellas Artes (working with children and adolescents through “creative thinking” by utilizing the arts in its different forms of expression like visual arts, music, dance, theater, and literature). Whether it is through financial literacy programs, mentorship opportunities, or fundraising efforts, Joanne consistently demonstrates her genuine concern and empathy for those facing challenges and obstacles.
For Joanne, joining the MBCGA board as treasurer was an opportunity to contribute to our global initiatives—to work together educating others and increasing awareness about breast cancer in men. She is committed to using her personal network, as well as that of Valley Bank, to widen the reach of MBCGA, expand and enhance our campaigns, and provide support of our key mission pillars.
